Rock Solid Athletics is excited to announce the beginning of Tryout Evaluation Monday starting Monday, June 1st 2020. This year we are doing tryouts a little differently. Instead of having tryouts on one day, we are letting our athletes work with coaches for the entire month of June. Due to COVID19, athletes have been out of the gym for 2 months so we feel this will be an easier way to transition them back into the gym safely, while improving their skills and showing coaches what they can do on the mat over a period of time.
We are also so excited to announce the hiring of 3 new coaches. Coach Dakota (All-Star Cheer), Coach Megan (All Star Cheer) and Strength & Conditioning Coach Jordan. They bring over 15 years of expertise combines to the RSA Program! This season is shaping up to be one of the best, EVER! It is through the hard work of every athlete that develops their own personal character to help them on their own life path for years to come beyond cheer.
Strength training is an integral part of All-Star Cheerleading & Tumbling. We focus a good portion of our time on Strength & Conditioning to make sure were are performing at peak levels on the mat. From FUNdamentals to High Level All-Star Athletes, weight lifting, aerobic excercise and High Intensity Interval training are key parts of our regimen.
Good friendships, difficult skills, performance nerves, positive habits and spotlight pressure are all confidence building challenges and benefits developed in Cheerleading.
